Competitions
The Alexandria Chapter hosts multiple shooting competitions throughout the year, providing members and non-members with opportunities to test their skills, improve their marksmanship, and enjoy the camaraderie of the shooting sports community.
Competitor's Cup
The chapter's Competitor's Cup program recognizes the top shooters across all competition disciplines over the course of the year. Points are accumulated from participation and performance in chapter-hosted matches, and the top shooters are recognized at the annual awards ceremony.
Competition Types
- NRL22 — Monthly precision .22LR rifle competition
- CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program) — Quarterly matches featuring military and police pistol, vintage military rifle, and rimfire sporter
- Steel Challenge & USPSA — Pistol, PCC, and rimfire action shooting
- America's Rifle Challenge — NRA-sanctioned precision rifle competition
Fees
- Members: $20 per match
- Non-members: $30 per match
- Youth (under 18): FREE
General Information
All competitions are open to the public unless otherwise noted. Competitors do not need to be chapter members to participate, though members receive a discounted entry fee.
All training and competition participation is limited to persons legally eligible to purchase and own firearms under ITAR regulations and all applicable federal and state laws.
